تَوَقَّ النِساءَ عَلى عِفَّةٍ

تَوَقَّ النِساءَ عَلى عِفَّةٍ

لِيَجزِيَكَ الواحِدُ القَيِّمُ

لِيَجزِيَكَ الواحِدُ القَيِّمُ

Shun women, remaining chaste,

Women are keen on chastity

so that the One, the Sustainer, may reward you.

So the One, the Eternal may reward you

فَأَبكارُهُنَّ اِبتِكارُ البَلا

فَأَبكارُهُنَّ اِبتِكارُ البَلا

وَأَيَّمُهُنَّ هِيَ الأَيُّمُ

وَأَيَّمُهُنَّ هِيَ الأَيُّمُ

For the virgins among them are the onset of affliction,

Their maidenhood is an invention of mind

and the widow among them is a serpent.

And which of them is innocent?
