إِلَهُناour God اللَهُAllah مَلكٌking أَوَّلٌfirst أَحَدٌone
إِلَهُنا اللَهُ مَلكٌ أَوَّلٌ أَحَدٌ
تُطيعُهُobey Him مِنamong صُنوفِkinds of الناسِthe people آحادُa few individuals
تُطيعُهُ مِن صُنوفِ الناسِ آحادُ
Our God, Allah, is King, the First, the One.
A few individuals among the various kinds of people obey Him.
لَقَدindeed عَرَضناwe presented عَلىto الأَبرارِthe righteous دينَكُمُyour religion
لَقَد عَرَضنا عَلى الأَبرارِ دينَكُمُ
فَكُلُّهُمso all of them عَنfrom دَناياbase aspects of فِعلِكُمyour conduct حادواturned away
فَكُلُّهُم عَن دَنايا فِعلِكُم حادوا
We have indeed presented your religion to the righteous.
So they all turned away from the baseness of your conduct.
إِنَّindeed المَجوسَthe Magians لِأَزكىsurely purer مِنكُمُthan you عَمَلاًin deed
إِنَّ المَجوسَ لِأَزكى مِنكُمُ عَمَلاً
وَإِنَّماand only شَأنُكُمyour conduct جَحدٌdenial وَإِلحادُand irreligion
وَإِنَّما شَأنُكُم جَحدٌ وَإِلحادُ
Indeed, the Magians are purer in deed than you.
And your conduct is nothing but denial and irreligion.
