فَلَيسَ فيهِ مِن بَنيهِ حَليم
Our father, Time, has a streak of rashness;
Our life is reckless and wild,

Man has ridden nothing but an oppressor
No man rides except a tyrant,

Pharaoh gained no blessing in it,
Pharaoh gained no joy from it
nor was life serene for Moses, the one God spoke to.
Nor did Moses the Exalted live serene.
