If my soul claimed that right guidance was its
ally, I would surely call it a liar for its claim.

An abode: whenever it freely offers its pleasure,
then surely misery lies behind its blessings.

If God forgives me, there is no regret
for the enjoyment of it that I have missed.

I ate it as a live coal whose heat
kept the greedy man from tasting it.
