Honor the weak person in your care while the horizons lie barren,
Honor the weak, though horizons are barren,
and do not humiliate him, even if you give him sustenance.
And do not humiliate him, even if you give him sustenance.

And avoid people: you will be safe from their evil deeds
Keep away from people, to be safe from their misdeeds,
and from being hated among your companions.
And from being despised in the company of peers.

They are bound to disparage everyone they have kept company with,
They must slander all whom they befriended,
even if he showed them the pebbles of stony ground as rubies.
Even if you had given them rubies as gifts.
وَقَضِّand spend وَقتَكَyour time بِالتَقوىin piety تَجَوَّزُهُyou pass through it
وَقَضِّ وَقتَكَ بِالتَقوى تَجَوَّزُهُ

حَتّى تُصادِفَ يَوماً فيهِ مَوقوتا
And spend your time in piety, passing through it,
Spend your time devoutly regardless of circumstance,
until, one day, you encounter what is appointed for that day.
Until you meet your predestined day.
