Be silent, and leave their misleader to his affairs,

to drive them with his staff or his sword.

They were counseled but would not heed, and bought fine dust

from its poorest mine at the price of its gold.

So they are like sheep seeking out their lion,

one who cares nothing for the state of his pasture.

Joy is buried; to a wise person there appears no

calamity of which death is one kind.

A man lies when he attributes evil to

the One who created humankind; that man scribbles in his feverish delirium.
