A garment that covers him suffices for a young man,
The youth is clothed in a garment that hides him
And his food in the gloom of darkness—nothing more.
And his sustenance is only in the gloom of darkness
وَحَظُّهُand his good fortune أَنto يَكونَbe مُنفَرِداًalone

And his good fortune is to be alone,
His fortune is to be alone
Like a bird unafraid wherever it alights.
Like a bird that does not care where it has fallen

It does not pick grain from their crops,
He does not pick up grains from their crops
And if it sees wild-plant seeds, it picks them up.
And if he sees a seedling, he takes it
فَذاكَso that one لَوif طارَflew فيin غَمامَتِهِits cloud

So, were that bird to fly within its cloud,
For if he flew in his cloud
No specks would touch its wing.
No drops would touch his wing
