أرزى المصائب والخسران في الدين

أرزى المصائب والخسران في الدين

وما سوى الدين معدود من الدون

وما سوى الدين معدود من الدون

The gravest calamities and losses are those in faith.

The greatest misfortunes and losses are in religion,

And all besides faith is reckoned among lesser things.

And anything other than religion is inferior.

إن يفسد الدين فالأشياء فاسدة

إن يفسد الدين فالأشياء فاسدة

لا يستقيم عماد فوق تودين

لا يستقيم عماد فوق تودين

If faith is corrupted, all things are corrupt.

If religion becomes corrupt, everything else becomes corrupt,

No pillar stands upright upon softened ground.

No pillar stands straight without faith.

اللَه أسألك التوفيق مقتصداً

اللَه أسألك التوفيق مقتصداً

رضاك راجيك للتوفيق تهديني

رضاك راجيك للتوفيق تهديني

O God, I ask You for right guidance, seeking

O Allah, I ask You for success with moderation,

Your pleasure, hoping You will guide me aright.

Seeking Your pleasure, guide me to success.

متى وردت حياض العفو منك فقد

متى وردت حياض العفو منك فقد

نلت المراد ولا خوف يعديني

نلت المراد ولا خوف يعديني

When I reach the pools of Your pardon, I shall have

When I come to Your forgiveness,

attained my desire, and no fear shall touch me.

I attain my goal, and no fear remains.

لئن نقعت الصدى منكم بمغفرة

لئن نقعت الصدى منكم بمغفرة

فلا صدى بعد نقع الغل يصديني

فلا صدى بعد نقع الغل يصديني

If indeed I quench my thirst with forgiveness from You,

If I am soaked with Your pardon and forgiveness,

then no thirst shall parch me once the burning thirst is quenched.

No other soaking remains after being soaked with bounty.

فانهج بي اللَه منهاج الصلاح إلى

فانهج بي اللَه منهاج الصلاح إلى

منهاج دنياي يا مولاي والدين

منهاج دنياي يا مولاي والدين

So lead me, O God, along the path of righteousness to

So guide me, O Allah, to the path of righteousness,

the path of my worldly life and faith, O my Lord.

To the path of my worldly life, O my Master and my Faith.

حسن اتكالي عليك اللَه لا أحد

حسن اتكالي عليك اللَه لا أحد

سواك أنت معيدي ثم مبديني

سواك أنت معيدي ثم مبديني

Sound is my reliance on You, O God—on no one

My good reliance is upon You, O Allah, no one

but You; You restore me, then bring me into being.

Other than You restores me, then guides me.

فوضت أمري إليك اللَه متكلا

فوضت أمري إليك اللَه متكلا

إلا عليك وراج منك تجديني

إلا عليك وراج منك تجديني

I have entrusted my affairs to You, O God, relying

I entrusted my affair to You, O Allah, relying

on none but You, and hoping that You will grant me bounty.

Only upon You, hoping in You to help me.

أرجو النجاة غدا من حيث لا ولد

أرجو النجاة غدا من حيث لا ولد

لي نافع لا ولا مال يفدّيني

لي نافع لا ولا مال يفدّيني

I hope for deliverance tomorrow, where no child

I hope for salvation tomorrow, since I have

of mine can help me—no, nor can wealth ransom me.

No child who can benefit me, nor wealth to ransom me,

عن كيد إبليس يا مولاي معتصم

عن كيد إبليس يا مولاي معتصم

بكم مخافة يغويني ويرديني

بكم مخافة يغويني ويرديني

From the wiles of Iblis, O my Lord, I seek refuge

From the schemes of Iblis - O my Master, I take refuge

in You, lest he lead me astray and destroy me.

In You, fearing he would tempt me and lead me astray.

فأنت أعلم بي مني ولا خفت

فأنت أعلم بي مني ولا خفت

يخفى عليك ولا سر بمكنون

يخفى عليك ولا سر بمكنون

For You know me better than I do, and no whisper

You know me better than I know myself, nothing

is hidden from You, nor is any secret concealed.

Remains hidden from You, no secret in what is concealed.

إني من الذنب في خوف ولي طمع

إني من الذنب في خوف ولي طمع

في رحمة منك يا مولاي توليني

في رحمة منك يا مولاي توليني

Indeed, I fear sin, and I have hope

I am in fear of sin, yet I have hope

in mercy from You, O my Lord, which You bestow on me,

In Your mercy, O my Master, be my Guardian!

وتجمع الشمل ما بيني وبين أبي ال

وتجمع الشمل ما بيني وبين أبي ال

خرصين فرطي في جنات علين

خرصين فرطي في جنات علين

and that You reunite me with Abu al-

And unite me with my father Al-Kharashi

Khursayn, my forerunner, in the gardens on high,

Who missed me, in the Gardens Most High.

في جيرة المصطفى المختار سيدنا

في جيرة المصطفى المختار سيدنا

عليه منك صلاة كل ما حين

عليه منك صلاة كل ما حين

in the neighborhood of the Chosen One, the Elect, our master—

In the neighborhood of the Chosen One, our Master

may Your blessing be upon him at every moment.

Upon him from You blessings, whenever it is time.
