Treetops where the birds quarrel,
A tree with branches for birds to quarrel over
As though the varied blossoms there were jewels.
As if varieties of light within it are gems

As if the meadow's breeze within its sides
Were perfume blends and scented powders in our midst.
Stirs gently what is between us and blossoms

As though the turtledoves and bulbuls around them
As if sparrows and nightingales around it
Were singing slave-girls, and the branches’ leaves were curtains.
With twigs and leaves of boughs are curtains

We drank to that chanting coffee
As though pearls encircled its edges.
As if around its edges pearls encircle
