وَأَيسَرُ ما نالَ مِنّي الغَلي

وَأَيسَرُ ما نالَ مِنّي الغَلي

لَ أَلّا أَحِسَّ مِنَ الماءِ بَردا

لَ أَلّا أَحِسَّ مِنَ الماءِ بَردا

And the least that burning thirst has inflicted upon me

The easiest thing I gained from passion

is that I feel no coolness from water.

Is that I no longer feel the chill of water
