Have you not seen my people, when their brother called them?
Did you not see my people when their brother summoned them?
They answered; and if he grows angry with the people, they grow angry too.
They answered, and if he turns his wrath upon a tribe, they share his wrath.

They guarded my honor in my absence, just as I had guarded
They guarded my honor in my absence, just as I was a guardian
my people's on another such occasion, when they were away.
Of the same for my people whenever they were away.

Sons of war—their mothers did not bring them low;
Sons of war—their mothers did not hold them back,
and their fathers were fathers of true worth, and so begot noble offspring.
And their fathers were fathers of truth who sired noble sons.
