وإكرامُهُ للضّيف ما بين صدغين

I see al-Adil al-Zaqmut honoring his guest;

I see the generous man honoring his guest

And his hospitality to the guest lies between two temples.

His hospitality to the guest is between two cheeks

إذا جاءهُ ضيٌف على الصّفع طارقا

يقولُ لهُ انزل على الرّاس والعين
