لَكَyou have وَجهٌa face كَآخِرِlike the end of الصَكِّthe deed فيهِin it
لَكَ وَجهٌ كَآخِرِ الصَكِّ فيهِ
لَمَحاتٌtraces كَثيرَةٌmany مِنof رِجالِmen
لَمَحاتٌ كَثيرَةٌ مِن رِجالِ
You have a face like the end of a deed; in it
You have a face like the seal at the end of a document
are many traces of men,
With many glimpses of men
كَخُطوطِlike the scripts of الكُتّابِthe scribes مُشتَبَهاتٍhard to tell apart
كَخُطوطِ الكُتّابِ مُشتَبَهاتٍ
شاهِداتٍbearing witness أَنthat لَستَyou are not بِاِبنِa son of حَلالِlawful wedlock
شاهِداتٍ أَن لَستَ بِاِبنِ حَلالِ
like the scribes’ scripts, hard to tell apart,
Like the scrawls of writers, ambiguous
bearing witness that you were not born in wedlock.
Witnesses that you are not the son of decency
