هُنِّيتَ بالعامِ وأمْثالِهِ

هُنِّيتَ بالعامِ وأمْثالِهِ

ما أسْفر الصُّبحُ وجَنَّ الظَّلامْ

ما أسْفر الصُّبحُ وجَنَّ الظَّلامْ

May you be congratulated on this year and others like it,

You were greeted with this year and its like,

As long as dawn brightens and darkness falls.

Before dawn broke and darkness took shelter.

فأنت في الخطْبِ الفَظيعِ الحِمى

فأنت في الخطْبِ الفَظيعِ الحِمى

وأنت في الجدْب الشَّنيعِ الغَمامْ

وأنت في الجدْب الشَّنيعِ الغَمامْ

For you are the sanctuary in terrible calamity,

You are amidst perilous afflictions,

And you are the raincloud in dreadful drought.

And amidst miserable droughts and clouds.

أنتَ بَهاءُ الدينِ لا مِرْيَةً

أنتَ بَهاءُ الدينِ لا مِرْيَةً

تحمي حمى حَوْزكَ من أن يُضامْ

تحمي حمى حَوْزكَ من أن يُضامْ

You are Baha al-Din, without a doubt;

You are the splendor of the faith, undoubtedly,

You protect your domain's sanctuary from violation.

Protecting your territory from being invaded.

وفارسُ الجودِ مُقِرٌّ لهُ

وفارسُ الجودِ مُقِرٌّ لهُ

بفضلهِ فيه الحَيا والكِرامْ

بفضلهِ فيه الحَيا والكِرامْ

And the knight of generosity is acknowledged

The knight of generosity acknowledges

For his excellence in it by the rain and the noble.

His grace, life and dignity are due to it.

فَعِشْتَ موْفورَ الحِمى والعُلى

فَعِشْتَ موْفورَ الحِمى والعُلى

مُحَسَّدَ الفضْل شَريف المَقامْ

مُحَسَّدَ الفضْل شَريف المَقامْ

So may you live with your sanctuary and glory undiminished,

So you lived with protected honor and sublimity,

Much envied for your excellence, noble in station.

Envied for your merit, noble in station.
