Ghars al-Khilafah, may you never miss a noble deed
You have attained honor by establishing the caliphate,
you are called upon to do, as long as riders travel by night through the deserts.
For which travelers across the land called and implored.

منfrom الاِمامthe Imam وعزمٍand resolve منكَfrom you مجدودِfavored by fortune
You instituted the freeing of dust-covered captives, through generosity
You acted with resolve and leadership sublime,
from the Imam and your own fortune-blessed resolve.
Dispelling the unjust from a generous nation.

And you stood, striving in sincere counsel and compassion,
You strove in good counsel against division and strife,
as one true in affection, no trembling coward.
Holding the stance of a loyal, unwavering friend.

So the clan's assemblies rang with a clamor
So the people's song and prayer now gladly proclaim,
of prayers answered, not rejected.
Blessings answered, not in vain, their wishes accrue.

So grant a favor, like the other kindness you have bestowed,
Bestow then your promised grace, as you've done before,
by fulfilling your promise to release Mahmud.
With sincerity, freeing the rightly subdued.
