Why not, when its cloaks have been embroidered

by the hand of the noble king, endowed with generosity?

A hand: when it comes forth for a noble deed,

its radiance guides through the gloom of darkness.

    Radiant—its fingers were not created

except to bear the sword and the pen.

    Nations wish it long life,

for through its existence they have found safety from extinction.
