Traversing every path of his arts,
Exploring every art in its branches,
Gathering his fruits from his branches,
Plucking fruits from its laden boughs,
راتِعاًgrazing freely مِنْof علومهhis learning فيin رياضٍgardens
خائضاًplunging فيinto بحارهhis seas الزَخّارَهsurging
Grazing in gardens of his learning,
Grazing in its meadows of knowledge,
Plunging into his surging seas.
Diving into its billowing seas,
كلّevery حينٍmoment أجيلI turn about فكريmy thought وطرفيand my gaze
فيthrough فنونarts مثلlike الرياضthe gardens نضارَهْin freshness
At every moment I let my thought and gaze roam
At every moment I set free my mind and gaze
Through arts as fresh as gardens.
To roam the blooming fields of science and arts,

At times I find healing in his radiant writings,
Now quenching my thirst with the nectar of literature,
And at other times I harvest knowledge—and at times...
Now reaping the harvest of sciences and arts.
