رضيتُ بربّي عن خَلْقِهِ

رضيتُ بربّي عن خَلْقِهِ

وعَنْ هذِهِ الدّارِ بالآخرَهْ

وعَنْ هذِهِ الدّارِ بالآخرَهْ

I am content with my Lord instead of His creation,

I am content with my Lord and His creation

and with the Hereafter instead of this abode.

And with this world, for the hereafter instead

سأسْعَى لِطاعتِه طاقتي

سأسْعَى لِطاعتِه طاقتي

وإن قَصُرْت همّتي القاصِرَه

وإن قَصُرْت همّتي القاصِرَه

I shall strive to obey Him as far as I am able,

I will strive in obeying Him as much as I can

even if my limited resolve falls short.

Though my aspirations may fall short ahead
