دَمْعِي وَقَلْبِي مُطْلَقٌ وأَسيرُ

وَعَظِيمُ مَطْلُوبي عَلَيْكَ يَسِيرُ

وَعَظِيمُ مَطْلُوبي عَلَيْكَ يَسِيرُ

My tears are unbound, and my heart is captive.

My tears and heart are free, yet captive,

And my great request is easy for you to grant.

And my great desire for you is so simple,

يَا مَنْ لَهُ فِي الحُسْنِ غُرَّة عِزَّة

يَا مَنْ لَهُ فِي الحُسْنِ غُرَّة عِزَّة

شَوْقي وَحَقِّكَ في هَوَاكَ كَثِيرُ

شَوْقي وَحَقِّكَ في هَوَاكَ كَثِيرُ

O you who have, in beauty, a radiant brow of glory,

O you whose beauty holds such proud allure,

My longing, by your worth, is great in my love for you.

My longing and your right to your love are plentiful.
