Hasten and journey, seeking lofty honors,

Hasten, you who seek the heights, through every valley

Through every valley and every trackless wilderness.

Heedless of the pain each path may bring.

And if an ignorant faultfinder reproaches you,

Though the ignorant chide and censure you,

Then say to him, 'O faultfinder, hush, hush!'

Say to them: avaunt! It matters not.
