بِحقِّكَ لا تَهْجُرْ فَهَجْرُكَ قَاتِلٌ

بِحقِّكَ لا تَهْجُرْ فَهَجْرُكَ قَاتِلٌ

وَإِنّي مِنْ جَوْرِ النَّوى بِكَ عَائِذُ

وَإِنّي مِنْ جَوْرِ النَّوى بِكَ عَائِذُ

By your honor, do not forsake me, for your abandonment is deadly.

By Your right abandon me not, for Your abandonment is death

And I seek refuge in you from the cruelty of separation.

Though I seek refuge in You from the tyranny of time

وَكَنْزُ اصْطِبارِي عِنْدَ فَقْدِكَ نافِذٌ

وَكَنْزُ اصْطِبارِي عِنْدَ فَقْدِكَ نافِذٌ

كما أنَّ سَهْمَ اللَّحْظِ فِي القَلْبِ نافِذُ

كما أنَّ سَهْمَ اللَّحْظِ فِي القَلْبِ نافِذُ

And the treasure of my endurance is exhausted when I lose you,

My treasured patience at Your loss expires

Just as the arrow of the glance pierces the heart.
