Whoever lampoons the sons of Buhtur and their tribe, Tayy,

is a doomed tribesman, cutting into his own liver.

And I have a companion: were it not for his baseness,

satire would surely have straightened his crookedness.

I hold my dignity above him, yet he thinks I

spare him for the sake of staying in his town.

His penis has grown impotent, for there are many

likenesses of his slave boys in his offspring.
