باكَرَتنا بَواكِرُ الوَسمِيِّ

باكَرَتنا بَواكِرُ الوَسمِيِّ

ثُمَّ راحَت وَأَقبَلَت بِالوَلِيِّ

ثُمَّ راحَت وَأَقبَلَت بِالوَلِيِّ

The earliest autumn showers visited us at dawn,

The early rains of Al-Wasm blessed us,

Then they came at evening, bringing the following rain.

Then ceased and returned with abundance.

وَأَرى الغَيثَ لَيسَ يَنفَكُّ يَهمي

وَأَرى الغَيثَ لَيسَ يَنفَكُّ يَهمي

في غَداةٍ مُخضَلَّةٍ وَعَشِيِّ

في غَداةٍ مُخضَلَّةٍ وَعَشِيِّ

And I see the rain never ceasing to pour,

I see the rain never ceasing its downpour,

In a rain-soaked morning and at evening.

In the mornings it is cloudy and at night clear.

فَسَقى الأَرضَ رَيَّها مِن نَداهُ

فَسَقى الأَرضَ رَيَّها مِن نَداهُ

فَاِسقِني مِن سُلافَةِ الراحِ رَيِّ

فَاِسقِني مِن سُلافَةِ الراحِ رَيِّ

So it watered the earth to its fill with its moisture;

It has watered the earth with its irrigation,

So give me my fill of the choicest wine.

So quench me with the remnants of the rains.

أَصبَحَت بَهجَةُ النَعيمِ وَأَمسَت

أَصبَحَت بَهجَةُ النَعيمِ وَأَمسَت

بَينَ قَصرِ الصَبيحِ وَالجَعفَرِيِّ

بَينَ قَصرِ الصَبيحِ وَالجَعفَرِيِّ

The splendor of bliss was there, morning and evening,

The joy of bliss has come in the morning,

Between al-Sabih Palace and al-Ja'fari,

And in the evening between Al-Sabeeh palace and Al-Ja'fari.

في البِناءِ العَجيبِ وَالمَنزِلِ الآ

في البِناءِ العَجيبِ وَالمَنزِلِ الآ

نِسِ وَالمَنظَرِ الجَميلِ البَهِيِّ

نِسِ وَالمَنظَرِ الجَميلِ البَهِيِّ

In the wondrous building and the welcoming abode,

In the amazing building and beautiful residence,

And the beautiful, splendid view,

And wonderful spectacle and excellent scenery.

وَرِياضٍ تَصبو النُفوسُ إِلَيها

وَرِياضٍ تَصبو النُفوسُ إِلَيها

وَتُحَيّا بِوَردِهِنَّ الجَنِيِّ

وَتُحَيّا بِوَردِهِنَّ الجَنِيِّ

And gardens for which souls yearn,

And gardens that souls yearn for,

And are greeted with their freshly picked roses.

Revived by their roses and beauty.

دارُ مُلكٍ مُختارَةٌ لِإِمامٍ

دارُ مُلكٍ مُختارَةٌ لِإِمامٍ

أَحرَزَت كَفُّهُ تُراثَ النَبِيِّ

أَحرَزَت كَفُّهُ تُراثَ النَبِيِّ

A royal abode chosen for an imam

The abode of a chosen king,

Whose hand has secured the Prophet's inheritance.

Whose hands inherited the legacy of the Prophet.

وَهَبَ اللَهُ لِلرَعِيَّةِ مِنهُ

وَهَبَ اللَهُ لِلرَعِيَّةِ مِنهُ

سيرَةَ الفاضِلِ النَقِيِّ الزَكِيِّ

سيرَةَ الفاضِلِ النَقِيِّ الزَكِيِّ

God has bestowed upon the populace, through him,

And God has granted the subjects through him,

The conduct of one virtuous, pure, and righteous.

The conduct of the virtuous, pure and righteous.

فَهيَ مَحبُوَّةٌ بِإِحسانِهِ الضا

فَهيَ مَحبُوَّةٌ بِإِحسانِهِ الضا

في عَلَيها وَحُكمِهِ المَرضِيِّ

في عَلَيها وَحُكمِهِ المَرضِيِّ

Thus it is favored with his abundant kindness

So they love him for his kindness

Upon it, and with his well-approved rule.

And his satisfying rule over them.

يَإِمامَ الهُدى وَيا صاحِبَ الحَق

يَإِمامَ الهُدى وَيا صاحِبَ الحَق

قِ وَيا اِبنَ الرَشيدِ وَالمَهدِيِّ

قِ وَيا اِبنَ الرَشيدِ وَالمَهدِيِّ

O imam of guidance, and O possessor of truth,

O Imam of guidance, and owner of truth,

And O son of al-Rashid and al-Mahdi,

And O son of Ar-Rashid and Al-Mahdi.

لِيَدُم دَهرُكَ المُحَبَّبُ في النا

لِيَدُم دَهرُكَ المُحَبَّبُ في النا

سِ بِعُمرٍ باقٍ وَعَيشٍ رَضِيِّ

سِ بِعُمرٍ باقٍ وَعَيشٍ رَضِيِّ

May your era, beloved among the people, endure,

May your beloved era last among people,

With lasting life and contented living.

With an eternal and fulfilling life.
