دِcompletion of 'inherited wealth' فَإِنَّfor indeed النَجاةَdeliverance هِيَit المَغنَمُthe gain
So do not think gain is the amassing of inherited wealth;
So count not wealth as endless gain,
For deliverance itself is the gain.
Salvation is the real bargain.
وَلَيتَand would that النَجاءَةَdeliverance لِلمُنصِفيfor the just (word continues)

And would that deliverance for the just
If but the just could win salvation -
Could be hoped for—how, then, for one who does wrong?
How then for those of oppression?
حِيالَكَbefore you دارانِtwo houses مَهدومَةٌdemolished
وَمَنقوضَةٌand dismantled خَلفَهاbehind it تُهدَمُis being demolished
Before you are two houses: one demolished,
Behind you here two dwellings lie,
And one behind it, being dismantled and torn down.
Both wrecked, and more shall yet comply.

And in that is a lesson for the wise,
Instruction here for those who learn,
And an admonition for you, if you but knew.
And warning, did you but discern.

If the judgment of a heretical man takes effect
If governance an infidel holds,
Against a Muslim, that Muslim perishes.
O'er Muslims, perished are the folds.
