قُم تَأَمَّل بِنا عَجائِبَ دَهرٍ

قُم تَأَمَّل بِنا عَجائِبَ دَهرٍ

كُتِبَت فيهِ لِلرِجالِ الرِماكُ

كُتِبَت فيهِ لِلرِجالِ الرِماكُ

Rise, and contemplate with us the marvels of an age

Rise and behold with us the wonders of time

In which mares were decreed for men.

In which shooting was prescribed for men

وَما أَسَرَّت أُمُّ العِيالِ سُروراً

وَما أَسَرَّت أُمُّ العِيالِ سُروراً

مُنذُ قالوا أَبو العِيالِ يُناكُ

قُدَّتِ الفِلوَةُ الخُضَيراءُ مِنهُ

شَبَهاً مِثلَ ما يُقَدُّ الشِراكُ

شَبَهاً مِثلَ ما يُقَدُّ الشِراكُ

فَعَلى العَينِ تَخيَةٌ تُظهِرُ الحِك
