يا دائِمَ الهَجرِ وَالصُدودِ

يا دائِمَ الهَجرِ وَالصُدودِ

ما فَوقَ بَلوايَ مِن مَزيدِ

ما فَوقَ بَلوايَ مِن مَزيدِ

O you, constant in abandonment and turning away,

O you who constantly shun and spurn me,

My affliction can grow no greater.

No more burdens can be added to my afflictions.

إِنِّيَ عَبدٌ وَأَنتَ مَولىً

إِنِّيَ عَبدٌ وَأَنتَ مَولىً

فَاِبغِ رِضا اللَهِ في العَبيدِ

فَاِبغِ رِضا اللَهِ في العَبيدِ

Indeed, I am a slave, and you are a master;

I am a slave while you are my master;

So seek God's pleasure in your treatment of slaves.

So seek what pleases God regarding slaves.
