بَينَنا حُرمَةٌ وَعَهدٌ وَثيقٌ

بَينَنا حُرمَةٌ وَعَهدٌ وَثيقٌ

وَعَلى بَعضِنا لِبَعضٍ حُقوقُ

وَعَلى بَعضِنا لِبَعضٍ حُقوقُ

Between us are a sacred bond and a firm covenant,

And each of us owes the other his due.

فَاِغتَنِم فُرصَةَ الزَمانِ فَما يَد

فَاِغتَنِم فُرصَةَ الزَمانِ فَما يَد

ري مُطيقٌ لَها مَتى لا يُطيقُ

ري مُطيقٌ لَها مَتى لا يُطيقُ

So seize time's opportunity, for one does not know—

Though able to seize it—when one will no longer be able.
