Between al-Shaqq and al-Lawwa and al-Ajra'
lie ruined camps, held captive to the four winds.
A blood-red cloud held back by the four winds

spring would quench the burning thirst of those dwelling-sites.
Spring would heal the sickness of those four

A stander in estrangement who does not stand
and one bidding farewell at parting, yet not truly bidding farewell.
A fareweller without farewell, bids no farewell

Separation is recalled, straightens bent ribs

For a opinion's marches, like unfolded mountains

until the trustee's protective zeal proves sound.
Until the treasurer's honesty is verified

A cloud of generosity, not too withholding

They were given victory by the state through which they prevailed
