صَلوا عَلى مَن عليه اللَّه خالَقه

صَلوا عَلى مَن عليه اللَّه خالَقه

صَلى وَسَلم في الآزال وَالقدم

صَلى وَسَلم في الآزال وَالقدم

Send blessings upon him on whom God, his Creator,

Pray upon the one whom Allah is his Creator

bestowed blessings and peace in eternity and before all time.

Prayed and greeted through all time

صَلوا عَلى بَهجَة الكَونين أَحمَد مَن

صَلوا عَلى بَهجَة الكَونين أَحمَد مَن

سَما وَسُمّيَ قَبل اللَّوح وَالقَلَم

سَما وَسُمّيَ قَبل اللَّوح وَالقَلَم

Send blessings upon the joy of the two worlds, Ahmad, who

Pray upon the delight of the two worlds, Ahmad, he who

was exalted and named before the Tablet and the Pen.

The sky was named after and before the Divine Tablet and Pen

صَلوا عَلَيهِ يُصلي اللَّه تَكرمة

صَلوا عَلَيهِ يُصلي اللَّه تَكرمة

عشرا وَيَشمَلكُم بِالفَضل وَالكَرَم

عشرا وَيَشمَلكُم بِالفَضل وَالكَرَم

Send blessings upon him; God will honor you with blessings

Pray upon him, Allah prays upon him ten fold

tenfold, and enfold you in bounty and generosity.

And encompasses you with grace and generosity

صَلوا فَإِنَّ صَلاةَ اللَّه رَحمَته

صَلوا فَإِنَّ صَلاةَ اللَّه رَحمَته

وَرَحمَة اللَّهِ عَنها سائر النِّعَم

وَرَحمَة اللَّهِ عَنها سائر النِّعَم

Send blessings, for God's blessing is His mercy,

Pray, for indeed the prayer of Allah is His mercy

and from God's mercy flow all blessings.

And the mercy of Allah surpasses all other blessings

صَلوا عَلَيهِ فمن صَلَّى عَلَيهِ يَفُز

صَلوا عَلَيهِ فمن صَلَّى عَلَيهِ يَفُز

بِالقَصد من منن وَالأَمن من نقم

بِالقَصد من منن وَالأَمن من نقم

Send blessings upon him, for whoever blesses him shall gain

Pray upon him, for whoever prays upon him succeeds

the favors he seeks, and safety from punishments.

In reaching his goal of favors and safety from punishments

صَلوا عَلى سَيدي صَلوا عَلى سندي

صَلوا عَلى سَيدي صَلوا عَلى سندي

صَلوا عَلى شافِعي في نَيل ما أرم

صَلوا عَلى شافِعي في نَيل ما أرم

Send blessings upon my master; send blessings upon my support.

Pray upon my master, pray upon my support

Send blessings upon my intercessor in attaining what I seek.

Pray upon my intercessor in attaining what I hope for

صَلوا عَلى السَّيد المُختار مِن مضر

صَلوا عَلى السَّيد المُختار مِن مضر

صَلوا عَلى المُصطَفى المَبعوث لِلأُمَم

صَلوا عَلى المُصطَفى المَبعوث لِلأُمَم

Send blessings upon the chosen master from Mudar.

Pray upon the chosen master from Mudar

Send blessings upon the Chosen One, sent to the nations.

Pray upon the Selected One sent to the nations

صَلوا عَلى الحامد المَحمود من أَزَل

صَلوا عَلى الحامد المَحمود من أَزَل

صَلوا عَلى خَير مَن يَمشي عَلى قَدَم

صَلوا عَلى خَير مَن يَمشي عَلى قَدَم

Send blessings upon the praiser, the one praised from eternity.

Pray upon the Praiseworthy and Commendable since eternity

Send blessings upon the best of those who walk on foot.

Pray upon the best of those who walk upon feet

صَلى الإِلَه عَلَيهِ دائِماً أَبَداً

صَلى الإِلَه عَلَيهِ دائِماً أَبَداً

وَالآل وَالصَّحب أَهل العلم وَالحكم

وَالآل وَالصَّحب أَهل العلم وَالحكم

May God bless him always, forever,

The God prays upon him eternally forever

and his family and companions, people of knowledge and wisdom,

And his Family and Companions, the people of knowledge and wisdom

ما أَطرَب السَّمعَ تَرجيع الحداة ضُحى

ما أَطرَب السَّمعَ تَرجيع الحداة ضُحى

لَدى الرَّكائب نَحوَ البَيت وَالحَرَم

لَدى الرَّكائب نَحوَ البَيت وَالحَرَم

as long as the camel-drivers' refrains delight the ear at midmorning,

How pleasing to the hearing is the refrain of the guides at dawn

beside the riding camels bound for the House and the Sanctuary;

On the way to the House and the Sanctuary

وَما سرت نَسمة مِن نَحوِ كاظِمَة

وَما سرت نَسمة مِن نَحوِ كاظِمَة

وَأَومَض البَرق مِن أَكناف ذي سلم

وَأَومَض البَرق مِن أَكناف ذي سلم

and as long as a breeze wafts from the direction of Kazimah,

And what breeze has blown from the direction of Kazima

and lightning flashes from the environs of Dhu Salam.

And lightning has flashed from the sides of Mount Selma
