اشعل ظهر والصدر يجهر شعاعه
O my falcon, for whom they bid ever higher,
I fly, though prices have risen,
Tawny-backed, his breast’s radiance dazzles.
My back aflame, my chest radiating light.

راجي عل زينه يزود بشجاعه
If he has a counterpart among people, it is Ghazalan.
Were there one like me among creatures, it would be a gazelle,
I hope his beauty will be enhanced by courage.
Seeking to increase its beauty through bravery.

I took him, and I have no regrets, O falconers.
I took it, though now I regret, O people of birds,
It is not my habit to haggle over goods.
It is not my habit to bargain prices.

وتجمعوا عندي كثير الجماعه
When the falcon of Hauran perches in my sitting room,
Until a houris-like bird perched in my gathering
And many people gather at my place,
And many gathered around me.

I held it in my palm though it was very weak,
For me, he has become a kind of immunity to worry.
It became for me like a sanctuary the next day.

When you are troubled by what your soul desires,
Now I have become, in what the soul desires,
Leave the low places of the plain and climb to its heights.
One who leaves stable ground and soars high.

And tomorrow’s turns rest with the Exalted One.
And its early warbling, at the highest rank,
Who can be sure of this world, even for a quarter of an hour?
Who can guarantee life, even for a moment?
