انعم من النسمة على خدة الورد

وأغلى سلامٍ لو ترده عليه

وأغلى سلامٍ لو ترده عليه

Softer than the breeze upon the rose's cheek,

Breathe gently on the cheek of the rose

And the dearest greeting, if you return it to me.

And convey my warmest greetings, if it would reply
