النّاسُ نظامُ أمرِهمْ بالصّبْرِ

صَبْري أنا غيرُ ناظمٍ لي أَمْري

صَبْري أنا غيرُ ناظمٍ لي أَمْري

People's affairs are put in order through patience.

People, their affairs are ordered with patience

My own patience does not put my affairs in order.

My patience, I have no order to my affair

بالصّبْرِ كما قيلَ مَنالُ النّصْرِ

بالصّبْرِ كما قيلَ مَنالُ النّصْرِ

لكنّ أمامَه فَناءُ العُمْرِ

لكنّ أمامَه فَناءُ العُمْرِ

Through patience, as they say, victory is attained.

With patience, victory is attained, it is said

But before it lies the end of life.

But before it lies the fading of life
