حالي أبداً وحالُها يَتّفِقُ

الجِسمُ يذوبُ والحشا يَحْتَرِق

الجِسمُ يذوبُ والحشا يَحْتَرِق

My state and hers are always alike:

Its state and mine are same, unite -

The body melts, and the heart burns.

My body wastes; my wick ignites.
