كُلٌّeach person يُهَنّيcongratulates بِيَومِon the day of العيدِthe feast صاحِبَهُhis companion
كُلٌّ يُهَنّي بِيَومِ العيدِ صاحِبَهُ
لِأَنَّbecause أَعيادَهُمtheir feast days فيin الدَهرِtime أَفرادُisolated occasions
لِأَنَّ أَعيادَهُم في الدَهرِ أَفرادُ
Each man congratulates his companion on the day of Eid,
Each congratulates his companion on the feast day,
For their Eids, through the ages, are isolated occasions.
For their feast days are isolated occasions in time.
وَلاand not أَخُصُّI single out لَهُfor him يَوماًa day بِتَهنِئَةٍwith congratulations

But I single out no day on which to congratulate him:
And I single out no day for congratulating him:
All his days are Eids for the people.
All his days are feast days for the people.
