You never passed through a garden but there opened wide,

In the light of your face, the blossoms’ eyelids.

And roses blushed before your cheeks, and bowed low

To the bough of your stature were bān trees and branches.

No wonder if my heart, in which you dwell, becomes

A meadow, for every part of you is a garden.
