You have a dwelling, O my heart’s desire, between those spears.
You have a home, O Moneeta, between those hills
How many tears flowed there and became channels!
How many tears have flowed there, yet returned as hills

O you whose stature scatters the lofty spears!
O you whose fate can scatter the high hills
May people cease to exist if they are possessions of anyone but you!
If people were for other than you, they would be hills
