Sol 6.1

  1. أَصبَحَ المُلك لِلَّذي فَطر الخَل

    قَ بِتَقديرٍ للعَزيز العَليمِ

    This morning, dominion belongs to Him who fashioned crea-

    tion by decree—to the Mighty, the All-Knowing.

  2. غافر الذَنب للمسيءِ بِعَفوٍ

    قابل التَوب ذي العَطاء العَميمِ

    Forgiver of the wrongdoer's sin through pardon,

    Accepter of repentance, whose bounty embraces all;

  3. مُرسل المُصطَفى البَشير إِلَينا

    رَحمة مِنهُ بِالكَلام القَديمِ

    Sender to us of the Chosen One, bearer of glad tidings,

    As a mercy from Him, with the eternal Word.

  4. رَبَنا رَبّنا إِلَيكَ أَنينا

    فَأَجرنا مِن حَر نار الجَحيمِ

    Our Lord, our Lord, to You we cry in anguish;

    So shelter us from the heat of Hell's fire.

  5. وَاكفِنا شَرّ ما نَخاف بِلُطفٍ

    يا عَظيماً يَرجى لِكُل عَظيمِ

    And spare us, in kindness, the evil we fear,

    O Great One, our hope in every weighty matter.

  6. وَتَقبل أَعمالَنا وَاعفُ عَنا

    وَأَنلنا دُخول دار النَعيمِ

    And accept our deeds, and pardon us,

    And grant us entry to the abode of bliss,

  7. بِنَبي بَعثَتهُ فَهَدانا

    لِصِراط مِن الهُدى مُستَقيمِ

    Through a prophet You sent, who then guided us

    To a straight path of guidance,

  8. وَبِمَن نَحنُ في حِماهُ مَدى الدَهر

    أَخيهِ يَحيى الحصور الكَريمِ

    And through him in whose protection we remain for all time—

    His brother Yahya, the chaste, the noble.

  9. أَدرك أَدرك قَوماً أَتوا بافتقار

    وَاِنكِسار وَمَدمَع مَسجومِ

    Help, help a people who have come in need,

    And contrition, and streaming tears.

  10. شَهدت أَرواحَهُم أَنكَ اللَهُ

    وَجاءوا بِكُل قَلبٍ سَليم

    Their souls have borne witness that You are God,

    And they have come, each with a sound heart.
