وَطقand endure ماwhat لاnot تُطيقcan bear لَهُfor it الصُخورُthe rocks
O Manjak, be patient among humankind;
Be patient in the wilderness, my soul
And endure what even rocks cannot bear.
And speak what even rocks cannot endure
فَمَجدكfor your glory لاnot تَبورlies barren لَهُfor it بِقاعlands
وَفَيضand the overflow بحارseas فَضلكyour bounty لاnot يَغورُrecedes
For your glory finds no barren land,
Your glory has no lands where it grows dim
And the overflow of the seas of your bounty never recedes.
The oceans of your merit will not ebb
لَقَدindeed شَهدتhas testified لَكَfor you العَلياءeminence حَقّاًtruly
وَفيكand about you مَقالةthe claim الأَعداءthe enemies زورُfalsehood
Indeed, eminence has borne true witness in your favor,
The virtuous have borne witness you are true
And the enemies' claim about you is a lie.
In enemies' attacks on you - vain lies
