May my father be ransom for the innocent, cherished young gazelle,
By my noble wild gazelle, tender and fawn,
In whose presence the surrender of lives is sweet.
He who readily sacrifices lives brings joy,

A moon whose radiance dazzles the eyes,
A moon that dazzles eyes, his brilliance,
And a sand dune, and a supple bān-tree bough.
A gentle hill, a branch with the scent of musk.

Hearts were imbued with love for him, so he became
I drank the love of hearts, so it came to pass,
Among us, the beloved of every heart.
That he is for our every heart the beloved.
