مِن ابن سِوار بَعد ما كانَ حاليا
By your life, the wrist of virtue has become unadorned,
By Your Life, Glory's Splendor Now Lies Fallow
bereft of Ibn Siwar, after once being adorned.
Since Ibn Siwar's Departure Robbed Us Blind.

مُصاباً وَأَضحى مَجلس العلم خاليا
And our hearts have been filled, at his loss,
Our Hearts Are Filled With Longing At His Loss-
with grief, and the assembly of learning has become empty.
Bereft, The Halls Of Learning Now Lie Barren.
