إِذاif أَناI لَمnot أغفِرforgive لأَيمَنَfor Ayman ذَنبَهُhis offense
إِذا أَنا لَم أغفِر لأَيمَنَ ذَنبَهُ
فَمَنthen who ذاthis one الَّذيwho يَعفوpardons لَهُfor him ذَنبَهُhis offense بَعديafter me
فَمَن ذا الَّذي يَعفو لَهُ ذَنبَهُ بَعدي
If I do not forgive Ayman his offense,
Then who will pardon his offense after me?
أُريدُI seek انتِقامَvengeance for الذَنبِthe offense ثُمَّthen تَرُدُّنيholds me back
أُريدُ انتِقامَ الذَنبِ ثُمَّ تَرُدُّني
يَدٌa favor لأدانيهِbelonging to his close kin مُبارَكَةٌblessed عِنديwith me
يَدٌ لأدانيهِ مُبارَكَةٌ عِندي
I seek vengeance for the offense, then I am held back
By a blessed favor his close kin have done me.
