هَذهِ بَيتٌ تَسُرُّ الناظِرِينَ

هَذهِ بَيتٌ تَسُرُّ الناظِرِينَ

تنزِلُ الرَّحمةُ فيها كل حين

تنزِلُ الرَّحمةُ فيها كل حين

This is a house that delights the beholders.

This is a house that brings joy to all who see it

Mercy descends within it at every moment.

Mercy descends in it at all times

وَاجِبٌ حَتْمٌ عَلَى دَاخِلِهَا

وَاجِبٌ حَتْمٌ عَلَى دَاخِلِهَا

حَمدُهُ لِله ِرَبّ العالَمِين

حَمدُهُ لِله ِرَبّ العالَمِين

It is a binding duty upon whoever enters it

It is certainly obligatory for all who enter it

to praise God, Lord of the worlds,

To praise Allah, Lord of the Worlds

إذْ أتَى مِنهَا مَقَاماً طَيِّباً

إذْ أتَى مِنهَا مَقَاماً طَيِّباً

فِيهِ ما يَبغيهِ منْ دُنْيَا وَدِين

فِيهِ ما يَبغيهِ منْ دُنْيَا وَدِين

since through it he has attained a pleasant abode,

Since one finds in it a good station

where he has what he seeks of worldly life and faith.

Wherein is what one seeks of this life and faith

هَنِئَتْ لابْنِ حسينٍ رَبها

هَنِئَتْ لابْنِ حسينٍ رَبها

وَبَنيهِ الغُرّ أنجَابِ البَنين

وَبَنيهِ الغُرّ أنجَابِ البَنين

May it be a joy to Ibn Husayn, its owner,

It has brought good fortune to the son of Hussein

and his illustrious sons, the noblest of sons.

And his noble sons, progeny of sons

فَهيَ سَعدٌ وَرَدَ الآن له

فَهيَ سَعدٌ وَرَدَ الآن له

وَلَهُمْ بِالنصرِ وَالفتحِ المُبِين

وَلَهُمْ بِالنصرِ وَالفتحِ المُبِين

For it is good fortune that has now come to him,

So now it has brought him happiness and return

and to them, with victory and manifest triumph.

And for them clear victory and opening

وَإذا تَمَّ البِنَا وَأرّخَتْ

وَإذا تَمَّ البِنَا وَأرّخَتْ

يَدْخُلُوهَا بِسلاَمٍ آمِنِين

يَدْخُلُوهَا بِسلاَمٍ آمِنِين

And when the building is complete and its date recorded,

And when the building is complete and dated

they shall enter it in peace, secure.

They will enter it in safe peace
