O sons of Tamim, what ails the pulpit of your rule?
O sons of Tamim, why does not the seat of your kingdom
Its base will not stay steady; it keeps trembling.
Settle down, it sways to and fro
إِنَّindeed المَنابِرَthe pulpits أَنكَرَتrejected أَستَاهَكُمyour backsides

Indeed, the pulpits have rejected your backsides;
Indeed the pulpits have denied your authority
so summon Khuzaymah, and the pulpit will settle.
So call upon Khazima, the pulpit will settle down

To Matar, by your life an allegiance that does not appear

And they appointed Matar as successor, so it was as if saying
“A one-eyed replacement for Yazid, by your life.”
By your life, a substitute for one-eyed Yazid
