They carved cradles of chrysolite that held
They bore necklaces of emeralds

I likened them to a maiden who cast
I pictured them as a necklace cast off
a flame amid the green of her garments.
Its robes of flame in the greenery

The cloud's hand poured silver for them,
The rain cloud poured its turbid tears for them
so they clothed it in a lovely, wondrous hue.
Dyeing them in wondrous hues

Watered with mud, yet yielding gold?
