Its darkness is in the depths of hell

And their radiant ones in the abode of honor.

And its light is in the station of honor

وليس بأرواحنا حاجة

إلى غير أجسادها في القيامه

And our souls have no need

Our souls have no need

Of anything but their bodies at the Resurrection.

For other than their bodies in the resurrection

فلو غيرها رام فيها الدخول

فلو غيرها رام فيها الدخول

لدى الحشر لم تغن عنها قلامه

لدى الحشر لم تغن عنها قلامه

So if anything else sought to enter them,

If another tries to enter them

At the gathering, it would not avail them even a nail-paring.

At the time of gathering, even a patch will not avail him

فخض في التجارب بعد اليقين

فخض في التجارب بعد اليقين

فإنّ التكاسل يحيى الندامه

فإنّ التكاسل يحيى الندامه

So plunge into experiments once you are certain,

Persist through trials after certainty

For idleness gives life to regret.

For laziness revives regret

وسر في الطريق إذا مارأيت

وسر في الطريق إذا مارأيت

دليل الهدى وعرفت العلامه

دليل الهدى وعرفت العلامه

And follow the path when you have seen

Travel the path when you see

The guide to the right way and recognized the sign.

The guide of righteousness and recognize the landmarks

فبالعمل الحق يرجى ومن

فبالعمل الحق يرجى ومن

توفّر للعلم يرجو السلامه

توفّر للعلم يرجو السلامه

For through practice truth is hoped for; and whoever

Through righteous action hope is anticipated

Devotes himself to knowledge hopes for safety.

And whoever makes knowledge available hopes for security
