Do not fill my cup; be gentle, for already mixed

Are cups upon cups for me, from your eyelids.

O you whose figure, when it sways, snatches away

Soul after soul from jinn and humankind.

Give me more smiles, and tell the night, “Last forever,”

For you are a lamp, and the cup is a lamp.
