فَقُلتُso I said لَهاto her ياO أُمَّmother of بَيضاءَBayda إِنَّهُindeed it
فَقُلتُ لَها يا أُمَّ بَيضاءَ إِنَّهُ
هُريقَwas poured away شَبابيmy youth وِاِستَشَنَّand has shriveled أَديميmy skin
هُريقَ شَبابي وِاِستَشَنَّ أَديمي
I said to her, “O Umm Bayḍāʾ, indeed—
So I said to her, “O Umm Bayda, indeed
my youth has been poured away, and my skin has grown shriveled.”
