يا دار ملكٍ نرى كل الجمال بها

يا دار ملكٍ نرى كل الجمال بها

وأسعد الدهر تبدو من جوانبها

O royal abode, in which we see all beauty,

O home of a king, where all beauty resides

And the blessings of fortune appear from its sides.

The happiest of eras, from all sides

كأنما جنة الفردوس اذ نزلت

كأنما جنة الفردوس اذ نزلت

بأرض غزنة تعجيلا لصاحبها

بأرض غزنة تعجيلا لصاحبها

As though the Garden of Paradise had descended

As if Paradise itself has descended

Upon the land of Ghazna, ahead of time for its lord.
