مَنwhoever يَقفُfollows ماwhat قَالَsaid كِتَابُthe book of الخَضِرِal-Khadir
مَن يَقفُ ما قَالَ كِتَابُ الخَضِرِ
فَقَدthen indeed قَفَاfollowed سُنَّةَthe way of خَيرِthe best of مُضَرِMudar
فَقَد قَفَا سُنَّةَ خَيرِ مُضَرِ
Whoever follows what al-Khadir's book says
has indeed followed the way of the best of Mudar.
فَهوَso it is بِتَبجِيلٍof veneration وتَعظِيمٍand reverence حَرِworthy
فَهوَ بِتَبجِيلٍ وتَعظِيمٍ حَرِ
والمَروَتَينِand by the two Marwas والصَّفاand al-Safa والمشَعَرِand al-Mash'ar
والمَروَتَينِ والصَّفا والمشَعَرِ
So it is worthy of veneration and reverence.
And by the two Marwas, al-Safa, and al-Mash'ar,
لاnot يُمتَرَىdoubt is entertained فيabout فَضلِهِits merit لاdo not تَمتَرِdoubt
لا يُمتَرَى في فَضلِهِ لا تَمتَرِ
مَنwhoever رَامَهُtargets it بالذَّمِّwith disparagement فَهوَthen he is المُفتَرِىthe slanderer
مَن رَامَهُ بالذَّمِّ فَهوَ المُفتَرِى
its merit is beyond doubt; do not doubt.
Whoever targets it with disparagement is the slanderer.
يقولُsays حيثماwherever أشتَرَاهُbought it المُشتَرِىthe buyer
يقولُ حيثما أشتَرَاهُ المُشتَرِى
هَدَّاؤُهُits giver الدَّفتَرُthe volume خَيرُthe best دفترvolume
هَدَّاؤُهُ الدَّفتَرُ خَيرُ دفتر
Wherever the buyer purchases it, says
its giver: 'The volume is the best volume.'
