فَقال غُرابٌ لا اغتِرابٌ مِنَ النَّوى

وبِالبانِ بَينٌ مِن حَبيبٍ تُعاشِرُه

وبِالبانِ بَينٌ مِن حَبيبٍ تُعاشِرُه

A raven said, “No estrangement comes from far-off departure,”

Then a raven said: no exile comes from separation,

and amid the bān trees comes parting from a beloved whose company you share.
